Transport

The Royal Docks occupy a key position in the Thames Gateway, located just 2 miles east of Canary Wharf, 5 miles from the City of London and within easy reach of the North Circular, A13 and M11.

The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) provides regular services to Canning Town, the City, Stratford and Lewisham.

The Jubilee Line provides fast direct access to Canary Wharf, Stratford, London Bridge (National Rail), Waterloo (National Rail and Eurostar services), Westminster and on to Bond Street in the heart of the West End within 25 minutes.

The Royal Docks has superb international air links. London City Airport is recognised as one of Europe's leading airports for business travel, offering direct flights to over 30 UK and Continental European destinations with international connections to hundreds more.

There are three other major airports, Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted all located within approximately 70 minutes' drive.

Planned major transport improvements, including the Thames Gateway Bridge, Crossrail, Silvertown Crossing and DLR extensions to Woolwich Arsenal, Stratford International and Dagenham Dock, will further increase the Royal Docks' accessibility.
