Our Objectives
Royal Docks Partnership has been created to co-ordinate and oversee the transformation of the Royal Docks into an area recognised as dynamic, successful and well-connected, with a sustainable future as a residential community, a competitive employment location and an exciting visitor destination.
The Partnership's work focuses on six key areas of activity:
Repositioning and branding the Royal Docks as an attractive new district with a clear identity.
Promoting the Royal Docks as an excellent area in which to invest - a place of choice for companies to relocate and for people to make their home.
Creating a sense of place by promoting a well designed, high quality environment and ensuring integration, legibility and connectivity throughout the area.
Developing a range of projects in partnership with other organisations and agencies working in the area to ensure all sectors of the community share the benefits and new opportunities created by the regeneration.
Facilitating opportunities to involve and integrate existing and new communities.
Lobbying central, regional and local government for investment to ensure the area has the infrastructure improvements necessary to underpin regeneration and attract new businesses, residents and visitors.
As the area develops and new organisations move into the area we will encourage their involvement in the Partnership and its activities.
