East Potential's Construction Your Career scheme offers local people the opportunity to train for a career in construction.
Whatever your interest, from bricklaying to carpentry to plumbing or surveying, the scheme can help get you started in the construction industry.
The programme includes:
Taster courses
Short courses to give learners the opportunity to have a go at a variety of trades.
Accredited qualifications
Courses available include the City & Guilds Multi Skills Qualification with on the job training and the CSCS card.
Support to find employment
Including work experience, CV writing, interviewing skills, site visits, one to one support and links to contractors with real vacancies.
Other support includes basic skills training, financial support for travel and childcare.
