The 2009 Mazda London Triathlon will take place at ExCeL London over the weekend of 1 and 2 August.
With over 8,000 competitors expected to swim, cycle and run for charity, it is now the largest triathlon in the world. It is the ideal race for those new to triathlon and each year an amazing 50 per cent of competitors have never competed in a triathlon before.
There are five different entry levels to challenge all levels of sporting ability:
Super Sprint - 400m swim, 10km cycle ride and 2.5km run
Sprint - 750m swim, 20km cycle ride and 5km run
Olympic - 1.5km swim, 40km cycle ride and 10km run
Team Sprint - 750km swim, 20km cycle ride and 5km run
Team Olympic - 1.5km swim, 40km cycle ride and 10km run
So whether you want to compete or prefer to watch some of the fittest sports people do battle across three gruelling disciplines, it promises to be a spectacular event and a race to remember.
